Welcome to Bear Hug Brewery, The Box Brewery.

Bear Hug Brewery began in January 2023 as a place to document my journey into homebrewing beer using beer kit boxes. Like many people, I wanted to brew my own beer at home without the complexity, cost, and equipment required for all-grain brewing. Beer kits provided the perfect starting point, and before long I found myself experimenting with different kits, ingredients, techniques, and equipment.

This website is dedicated to sharing those experiences.

Whether you're brewing your very first kit or you're an experienced homebrewer looking for ideas, you'll find honest reviews, brewing guides, tips, successes, failures, and lessons learned along the way.
